MAC is looking for a Deputy Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to oversee the design, development, maintenance, and support of Software Applications for a well-established product based company.

Our elite client is a product company that develops high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end applications. Their products are developed on popular and well-tested technology stack.

Position Description:

• Work with the CTO to create and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with the company’s overall strategic plan.
• Lead and manage the development and delivery of technology products and services, including software development, data management, and technology infrastructure.
• Ensure the security and reliability of the company’s technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, and applications, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the edtech industry, and identify opportunities for the company to leverage new technologies to improve its products and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and operations, to ensure alignment of technology initiatives with the overall business goals.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, and negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
• Develop and mentor the technology team members, fostering a culture of innovation and promoting professional development opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between the technology department and other departments within the company, communicating technology initiatives and progress, and gathering feedback and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as data privacy laws and security standards.
• Work closely with the CTO to manage the technology budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Understanding technologies like Angular/Node/Postgresql and Webrtc is desirable.
• Being Hands-on on the development front is an added advantage.
  15+ years of experience in the industry where startup experience is a must.
